Description:

The pool complex was meant to be an addition to Viljandi down-town sports complex. We tried to create a public zone behind the street front in the depth of the block. Thus the volume of the building was placed so that it creates an outside courtyard for different activities between the existing and the new pool facility. Basketball, volleyball, tennis, ice-skating etc was supposed to take place in a sunken plaza surrounded by seating steps.
