The heating facility for the Pühajärve Spa and Hotel complex attempts to hide itself underground not to spoil the views from the hotel windows. At the same time it exposes a field of solar panels atop the sunken and ground-covered utility. The construction is made of timber and steel, the heat plant also utilizes fuelwood in addition to the solar energy.
The boiler station was awarded the title of Estonian Timber Building of the Year in 2015.
